The LeTV 1S, succeeds the LeTV Le 1 X600 way back early 2015, whot introduced itself to have a “Borderless Display and powered by the new MTK Helio X10”. Actually, on paper, both phones are quite similar in terms of specs. They use the same MTK Helio X10 processor, also comes with 3 GB RAM, almost the same build design and materials. I think the only difference is the Fingerprint Scanner at the back.

So what is unique about the Fingerprint Scanner?

For starters, the company said that the Fingerprint Scanner  is one of the fastest and most accurate available. It also has a different design. The company calls it “Mirror Face Fingerprint”. In details, it has a Mirror design, the mirror has a 6H hardness level, 360 degree unlocking.

Strong Camera on paper

The camera on the LeTv is quite similar to the previous X600, and considering that fact, then we will be assuming that the camera is also good. It uses a 13 megapixel camera with Samsung S5K5E2 sensor with PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus). The camera is also capable of 4K video recording at 30 fps, 1080p video at 60 fps and 720p HD at 120 fps.

Premium Unibody Design and 3000mAh battery

The LeTV will offer the same quality and build similar to the X600. The Unibody All-Metal design is only 7.5mm thickness, and 169g, considering that it is metal overall. Underneath, the phone will also feature a decent size 3000mAh battery, the USB type C(reversible connector), will also feature Quick Charging Support.

An upgrade to the X600

Today, the LeTV Le 1 X600 retails sub $200, despite, that the LeTV 1s doesn’t bring a whole lot to the table, it is still an awesome addition to the Midrange Category. If history is the basis, the X600 was a very popular and great Smartphone. And we expect this new addition will continue that path. First impressions is great though and not just on paper. The phone offers great build quality and comparable to other more expensive Flagships in the market.
