Video Reference: Lenovo Lemo K3 Note first impression …
The newest Phablet from Lenovo is certainly a very powerful Smartphone, with asub$200 price, it’s the cheapest Phablet Smartphone to offer high midrange specs with a FHD or 1080p capable display. The phone also features dual 4G LTE Support and a high capacity 3000mAh removable battery.
The Lemo K3 Note comes from Lenovo’s budget series, it is powered by Mediatek’s latest64 bit MT6752 Octa core processor, this puts it in line with the Meizu M1. Furthermore, the sub$200 pricing also makes it a good rival to the Jiayu s3 as well as the iOcean M6752. Not too long ago, the Lemo K3 (earlier version) was introduced, it used a less powerful 64 bit Snapdragon 410 CPU and also supports native 4G LTE. But in terms of specs, it is clearly dwarfed by this newer version.
Benchmark performance as advertised by Lenovo, the device can reach a score of45,888 points on Antutu. A real feat on its own. Considering that most phones struggle to break the 40,000 point mark. Previous Benchmark testing that MT6752 can  perform on par with the last generation Snapdragon 801. So this is no shocker.
Other prominent features include a 2 GB DDR3 RAM  and expandable storage support via MicroSD Card. The Phone also runs Vibe 2.5 UI, a proprietary OS based on the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop. Those familiar with the Vibe UI, will get acquainted easily, the interface offers multiple customizations and themes straight from Lenovo. The phone also supports OTA  firmware upgrade, so future updates will be made seamlessly through data connections or Wi-Fi.
In terms of connectivity, the Lenovo Lemo K3 Note is jammed packed. It supports Dual 4G LTE, this includes frequencies such as FDD-LTE (available on international carriers) and TDD-LTE (only works in China). In addition, the phone also supports multiple 3G frequencies (TD-SCDMA and WCDMA) natively. Other connectivity options are also available in the phone.
The phone also boast a Smart PA technology and a built in Waves MaxxAudio Sound effect technology. The loudspeaker is located in the back and offers clear and powerful sound. The Audio chip will surely please audiophiles especially when used with a headphone.
The phone comes from Lenovo’s Lemo series and still maintains the trademark yellow shade. Surprisingly, despite the high capacity 3000mAh removable battery. The phone still remains thin at just 7.9mm. Opening the back cover grants access to other periphery namely the Sim card Slots, Micro SD card slots and the battery.
Overall, a sub$200 Phablet smartphone with a powerful processor, FHD Display and a high capacity battery. Worthy to mention, the expandable storage and a removable battery are a definite plus. The phone offers great value for price. And thus gives theMeizu M1 Note and the Xiaomi Mi Note some tough rivalries. Also the Jiayu S3 andiOcean M6752 will also be in the contention.
