The Teclast X80 is a reboot of the last generation Teclast X80H/HD. The tablet bares the same ergonomics and design but packs the new Intel Atom Cherry Trail Processor underneath. The tablet runs the latest 64 bit Windows 10 Home Edition out of the box. Furthermore, there are two variants of the the new X80. The Teclast X80 Plus, is equipped with a high quality 1080p display, meanwhile, the cheaper Teclast X80 Plus, only has a 720p HD Display. Other than the aforementioned, both tablets are the same.

Not too long ago, the Teclast X98 Pro was released, considered the first Cherry Trail Tablet, the tablet also a reboot of the first generation Bay Trail Processor. After that, theChuwi Hi10 also showed their Full Tablet with the same Soc.

Overall, the Teclast X80 Pro/Plus are budget priced tablets, but offer more value to the table. The new Cherry Trail Processors are indeed more powerful than last generation chipsets, also the tablet at 8.0 inch are much more easier to carry and is therefore portable. The Teclast X98 Pro is bigger with 4 GB RAM, meanwhile, the X80 versions are smaller but retains the same performance and features. The Teclast X80 Plus, sub$100 might garner more attention, but i think, the 1080p display of the X80 Pro fairs better.
