Mlais M7 and Mlais MX – Solid Budget Phones

Mlais recently release two new budget phones and for the price, they offer great specs and features.

Right after the Mlais M52, another budget Smartphone which also features an Octa Core CPU underneath. The Mlais M7 takes flight, looking at the specs, both phones appear to be nearly identical. Except for the boost camera specs as stated “Sony IMX135 sensor”and an equally good 5.0 mp front camera with CMOS sensor. Maybe a response to the average performance of the M52’s camera. Also worth mentioning is the Fingerprint ID sensor, which Mlais has added in order to improve personal or individualize security.

Obviously, there are two versions (refer to the table above). The Mlais M7 is the faster version but is also a tad pricy. Despite the low end CPU underneath, the Mlais MX does have an appealing factor,  the 4800mAh battery is a welcome site. One of the biggest to be fitted on a Smartphone. But this makes the phone chunkier, it measures 9.9mm (thicker than the M7). But i think the sacrifice is worth the giant battery underneath.

Both phones offer good connectivity, 4G LTE is supported and both phones offer the same frequencies. FDD-LTE (accepted internationally) and Dual SIM Mode.

Overall, the budget category, especially sub$200 are already congested with phones that offer features such as a bigger battery and 1080p display. One such example is theJiayu S3. Thus, competition is fierce and probably the reason why the Fingerprint ID sensor was added. Furthermore, the Mlais MX, appeal is probably its price and the giant battery underneath. It should appeal to the basic consumer who want longer battery life and also get reliable 4G connection.
